My computer has a rouge program on it that says everything is infected when it's really not. One of the people from Computing Services (C.S.) here on campus was on duty today and he tried to fix it. It didn't work. The problem is this: this program says everything is infected when it's not. The program won't infect anything. All it's trying to do is get me to buy this antivirus program, but I already have one. It's really making me mad because I can't use my compute. Ok, I can, but I don't want to until the dumb program is gone and I have a better antivirus and antimalware program installed. You might have guessed I'm not blogging on my computer because I'm not. I'm in the computer lab in the Student Union Building (SUB) blogging on one of the computers here. I'm going to take my computer to C.S. Monday and have them get rid of this ugly, mean, totally stupid and vicious program. It's called Antivirus System PRO, just in case it attacks anyone esle's computer. I'm writing a paper for English right now and it's due a week from Wednesday. The guy who worked on my computer today was able to transfer the file to a jump drive so I can keep working on the paper. He also said there are more tools available in the C.S. building that will kill this program. Hopefully the people at C.S. can have my computer fixed by the time I leave Tuesday at 3 p.m. If not, I'm going to bring it with me to the Springs and hopefully someone there will be able to fix it.
Ok. I'm done venting for now. I might try to write something tomorrow. Maybe.

I recently went through all kinds of computer problems (and my old laptop WAS infected) and it's incredibly frustrating. Take a deep breath - and I am glad you have another place to go to use a computer!
I'll ask unkie FaFa to read your post, Claire. Maybe he has some de-gunking advice for you. Happy Thanksgiving, though! :) xo, T
